Job Description
Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned practice offering a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their established and friendly team. This role is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about patient care and would like to develop their skills in a supportive and well-equipped environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The role is part-time, working every Wednesday for an 8 to 10-hour shift and 1:3 Saturdays from 8am to 1pm. No Sundays, Bank Holidays, inpatient checks, or out-of-hours duties are required.
Role Description
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of nursing, including nurse consultations and anaesthesia. Nurses are highly valued and well-utilised within the practice, allowing them to work to their full potential. There may also be a requirement to provide holiday cover at one of the practice’s branch locations.
Team Size
This practice operates with a team across four branches, supported by vets with certificates in orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, medicine, dermatology, and a visiting ophthalmologist.
Practice Details
The main clinic is based in Walton Cardiff, Tewkesbury, with additional first-opinion clinics in Bishops Cleeve, Leckhampton, and Tewkesbury. The practice boasts an exciting caseload, offering laparoscopic surgery, endoscopy, radiography, and advanced imaging, including CT. The environment is supportive, progressive, and committed to both client service and staff development.
