Mechanical Engineer – Day Shift – 3 on 3 off
Birmingham
£36,750 per annum (£35,000 plus 25% shift allowance)
Permanent static mechanical and plumbing engineer role, working at a landmark site in Birmingham. This role offers security, job stability, and access to world-class training and progression opportunities. The company promotes from within and invests in workforce upskilling. The shift pattern is 3 days on, 3 days off, working 7pm – 7am.
Your main duties will include:
* Carrying out daily pre-planned and reactive tasks
* Maintenance on plumbing and drainage systems
* Maintenance on mechanical plant including Air Handling Units, Fan Coil Units
* Stripping down machinery
* Boiler experience is highly advantageous (BOAS training will be provided)
The ideal candidate will hold a formal qualification in plumbing, pipe fitting, or mechanical engineering (City and Guilds or NVQ), with previous maintenance experience and a desire to advance their career.
