Overview
We are seeking an experienced producer to join the team for Too Much Music, a feature documentary currently in development. The film tells the story of Kiki Gyan, the prodigious Ghanaian keyboardist of Osibisa, whose genius and global fame in the 1970s/80s were matched by a turbulent personal journey. This is a story about brilliance, cultural displacement, and the cost of being ahead of your time. We have secured the life and music rights from Kiki Gyan’s estate, along with exclusive access to family and collaborators across Ghana, London, Lagos, and New York. The project is backed by a core Ghanaian team and is ready to expand internationally.
