The consultancy specialises in residential, education, commercial, industrial, healthcare, and student accommodation sectors.
The Principal Designer's Role
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and promoting best practices in health and safety.
The Principal Designer will
* Develop and review Construction Phase Plans (CPPs) and Pre-construction Information (PCIs)
* Manage design risk and provide CDM advice to clients and design teams
* Conduct health and safety audits and inspections
* Facilitate CDM workshops and training sessions
The successful Principal Designer
* A strong background in construction or design with specific Principal Design delivery experience
* Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety
* Membership with professional bodies such as IOSH or APS
* Proven experience working within a consultancy environment
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* A proactive and positive attitude with a commitment to continuous professional development
