Overview
An opportunity has arisen to join our existing team for a Senior HR Advisor. You will provide a professional and comprehensive generalist Human Resources service to managers, staff, and staff side representatives across the organisation.
Responsibilities
* Provide HR advice and support across a range of issues including employee relations, terms and conditions of service, employment legislation, equal opportunities, and employee development.
* Promote high quality HR practice in all areas and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that meet best practice, current legislation and national policies.
* Support the wider team in the delivery of policy training programmes.
* Work on your own initiative, planning and organising your workload.
* Contribute to the development of policies and procedures which meet best practice, current legislation and national policies.
* Possess knowledge of NHS staff policies, PIN Guidelines, and NHS Scotland policies relevant to the role.
* Engage in hybrid working arrangements as part of the role.
Qualifications and Experience
* Postgraduate CIPD qualification with significant practical HR experience in a large organisation, preferably within the public sector.
* Experience of employment legislation, HR policies, and terms and conditions of service relevant to NHS staff.
* Ability to work on own initiative, with strong planning and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication, influencing, mediation, project and people management skills, with a creative approach to problem solving.
