FT Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing local accountancy practice, for an Accountant on a part-time basis. Having successfully helped them secure an accountant, our client are looking for another due to growth and securing numerous new clients.
This is a fully flexible Remote / Home-Based role where working hours can be arranged around family/personal commitments, with Sole Trader, LTD company or Umbrella employment solutions available.
Main duties include:
* Bookkeeping
* Account reconciliations
* Management accounts preparation
* Payroll processing and P11d submissions
* Pension auto-enrolment facilitation
* VAT preparation and filing
* Preparation and submission of accounts
* Preparation and submission of corporate and personal tax returns
* Client liaison on all aspects of their accounts, including tax-efficient remuneration
Suitable candidates should have the following:
* Experience of working in an accountancy practice is essential
* Competence in Excel
* Experience with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks)
* High level of accuracy, attention to detail, organisational and interpersonal skills
