You will be central to a highly collaborative team in Norfolk. As part of our Local Government team, you will deliver interesting projects for our client. As Senior Project Manager, based in Norwich, you will work on significant projects within the County, collaborating with resources across WSP nationwide.
WSP provides professional services on long-term frameworks and major projects, supported by a team of skilled Project Managers and Directors. Our business offers clear career progression for aspiring Project Managers, emphasizing efficiency, technical quality, and service excellence.

Your Team
Skills
All our Project Managers own their projects from conception to completion, contributing to our high-performing team with their expertise. Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading project management processes, mentoring team members, and reviewing work.
* Managing multi-disciplinary project coordination.
* Building strong client relationships and ensuring effective team collaboration.
* Managing resources, including remote teams, to meet workload demands.
* Delivering compliant designs on time and within budget, adhering to safety, QA, and technical standards.
* Utilizing resources across WSP teams as needed.
* Managing project finances, including fees and commercial aspects.
* Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
* Growing the Project Management team in Norfolk.
* Developing project plans, risk analyses, and managing progress reports.
* Carrying out change control, value engineering, and stakeholder management.
* Overseeing invoicing and cash collection processes.
What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate…
* Experience in project management, business administration, or financial planning within the services sector.
* Experience managing project activities, systems, and processes.
* Line management experience in managing project teams.
* Strong understanding of commercial and financial project management.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Knowledge of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
* Experience with NEC4 contracts is desirable.
