Current vacancies
Marketing Communications Manager
Salary: £35,100 FTE per annum (£28,080 pro rata)
Hours: Permanent, part-time, 28 hours per week.
Location: Based at the Trust’s office in Stirling, home-based or be a hybrid between the Trust’s office in Stirling and home-working.
If you are looking to join a talented and creative team that is passionate about nature, then we would love to hear from you. Our vision is of a future where bumblebees are thriving and valued by everyone; marketing and communications is central to us achieving that.
Your role will be to lead the Marketing and Communications team to develop and deliver a Marketing and Communications Plan that inspires and enables people from all backgrounds to take action to support bumblebees. Actions may include donating/fundraising, political advocacy, volunteering/surveying, or creating bumblebee habitats (everything from a window box up!).
You will work with colleagues across the Trust to deliver both national and project level campaigns and strengthen the Trust’s brand, website, PR, and social media engagement.
You will be a self-motivated creative thinker with proven leadership and management skills and experience in delivering engaging campaigns across a variety of media channels.
Conservation Projects Manager (Species Recovery) Maternity Cover
Salary: £28,700 FTE per annum (£19,680 pro rata)
Hours: P art-time (2 4 hours per week)
Location: H ome based in Southern/ South West England w ith frequent travel to Somerset & potentially South Wales
Your role will be to deliver the Shrill Carder Bee Conservation Strategy 2020-2030 in England and Wales. This includes developing landscape-scale conservation projects for the Shrill carder bumblebee primarily in South Somerset, raising the profile of this rare and threatened species, and supporting the development and delivery of the Species Recovery Programme.
You will be responsible for the co ordination of the Shrill Carder Bee Conservation Strategy and Steering Group, delivering the Trust’s actions of the Shrill Carder Bee Conservation Strategy, and raising the profile of the Shrill carder bumblebee.
Science & Conservation Trustee
Bumblebees are in crisis. Could you help us in leading the fight to secure their future? We are looking for a Trustee with experience in Science & Conservation to join our Board.
The Trust is a UK wide science-led charity, concerned with halting and reversing the decline in bumblebees. We are governed by a Board of ten Trustees who work well together, and with the executive team with a spirit of openness and trust. We recruit individuals skilled in their field and passionate about nature, species conservation and bumblebees!
We’re very proud of our inclusive culture at the Trust and we welcome applications from those who are new to trusteeship as well as those with previous experience. We want to hear how your lived experience will give us a better representation of the diverse audiences we seek to inspire to take action for bumblebees.
