What you'll do:
* Safeguard and promote the welfare of young people.
* Lead shifts, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality care.
* Support the Registered Manager with compliance, audits, and inspections.
* Promote positive outcomes in education, health, independence, and well-being.
* Act as a role model, helping young people build resilience and thrive.
What we're looking for:
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – willing to work towards Level 5.
* At least 2 years' experience in residential childcare, with 1 year at a senior level.
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child development, and trauma-informed practice.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and participate in the on-call rota.
* Enhanced DBS check.
