Reporting to the Group Head of Global Brand and Communications, you will play a key role in delivering marketing activity across the business. This is a varied, hands-on position covering content creation, design, management of digital channels and event coordination, working closely with teams across the UK, Europe and Asia.
You will contribute to brand communications covering our UK manufacturing site, Pincroft, and our commercial brand Carrington Textiles, as well as wider group marketing activities relative to all brands and production sites.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Your role will include, but will not be limited to:
* Compile information and write articles, blog posts and case studies
* Create online and offline brand materials, including collateral, social media and digital content
* Design graphics for events, campaigns, presentations and marketing materials
* Contribute to the delivery of PR, social media and content calendars
* Update products and content across company websites and digital platforms
* Coordinate logistics and support brand presence at exhibitions and events
* Work with internal stakeholders to assist in the development of tailored campaigns
* Manage collateral inventory and ordering systems
* Coordinate logistics for internal meetings and events
* Lead the design and copywriting of the internal newsletter
* Manage and maintain the company intranet, ensuring content remains accurate and up to date
Qualifications, Education, Skills and Competencies
* A qualification in marketing or a related subject (Essential)
* Excellent written English, with strong spelling, grammar and attention to detail
* Strong copywriting and proofreading skills (Essential)
* Previous experience in a marketing role is desirable
* Basic understanding of SEO principles
* Experience with Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools is desirable
* Demonstrates strong creative ability with intermediate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator (Essential)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Good understanding of social media platforms and content trends
* Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
* Collaborative approach, with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders
* Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to travel as required (approximately 10% of the role)
