Employer: St Margaret's Hospice Care
Location: Somerset, UK (covering Yeovil and Taunton areas; some travel within the region)
Salary: £28,651.60 per annum (equivalent to a full-time salary of £35,336.97)
Working pattern: Part time (30 hours per week)
Contract: Permanent
Overview of the role
As a key member of the fundraising management team, you will support the delivery of the hospice’s five-year income generation strategy and growth plans. Focusing on maximising income generation potential, your role will be to deliver innovative engagement strategies that are supporter centric and based on insight.
What you can expect to be doing
* Take ownership of your area, supported by the Head of Fundraising.
* Shape and implement new ways of working to ensure supporters are valued, embedding gold standard stewardship across the Hospice.
* Lead on key projects for the Hospice, including Light up a Life appeal, developing supporter journeys, and creating a Reward and Recognition Strategy.
* There will be opportunities for development and growth within the role.
Your day-to-day
* Planning and delivering appeals and cross-cutting campaigns, working with the Copywriter to create a compelling call to action.
* With a good understanding of your audience, making data-driven decisions to plan stewardship activity that leads to high levels of conversion.
* Overseeing the fundraising CRM tool, which underpins all communications with our supporters.
* Using the CRM system to analyse data and inform decision making.
* Line managing the Supporter Experience team.
* Providing regular reporting against donor retention objectives, tracking expenditure, and delivering accurate forecasts.
What you will be good at
* Experience of creating and delivering income generating campaigns or appeals
* Experience of delivering high quality customer care within a busy, rapidly changing environment
* Creative and imaginative in approach to ideas and opportunities
* Experience of setting and managing income and expenditure budgets
* Experience of using Customer Relationship Management databases and gathering insight from other sources to enhance the customer experience
