Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support and assisting with various clerical tasks. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and has excellent organisational, also social media skills may be an advantage.
Duties
* Manage incoming phone calls and emails, ensuring professional communication at all times.
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
* Assist with the organisation of office files, both physical and digital, to ensure easy access to information.
* Support the preparation of documents using Software applications.
* Provide administrative support to our various departments as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing the calendars of our teams.
* Utilise existing programs for basic record keeping as required.
* Help with advertising and increasing the social media presence of the company.
Skills
* Willing to learn and being proficient with figures, measurements and using applications and document creation and management.
* Strong phone etiquette with excellent verbal communication skills.
* Ability to perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
* Organisational skills that enable effective management of multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Administrative experience with a focus on clerical duties is preferred.
* Competence in computerised systems for efficient workflow management.
* Familiarity with Re-Flow, QB, Outlook, word and Excel are an advantage but not essential; training can be provided.
* Telephone and social media.
