A rare opportunity has arisen for a Basingstoke based manufacturing business who are seeking a Production Planner to join their established friendly team. The opportunity would suit a motivated individual who is looking for a role they can put their own stamp on! Working closely with the supply chain, sales and production teams, the position will be responsible for a diverse range of duties. These include but are not limited to: Managing and the control of purchasing activities. Utilise, maintain and analyse data on the MRP system. Stock level management and reporting. Demand and sales forecasting. Maintaining supplier relationships. Generating purchase orders. Overseeing the production of customer orders. The ideal candidate will have proven experience gained within a manufacturing/ production background coupled with knowledge of MRP systems. It is essential to have excellent systems/ analysis skills as well as being a good communicator who is able to manage and build strong internal and external relationships. You must also have a high level of commercial acumen and self motivation. The company have free car parking onsite and offer a competitive salary for this position.
