Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated School Support Mentors to join a welcoming specialist school that supports pupils with Autism and SEMH needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to become part of a team that plays a vital role in helping every student achieve their full potential.
What You'll Be Doing
* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Assisting with daily classroom activities and behaviour support
* Encouraging pupil engagement and promoting positive relationships
* Working alongside teachers and other professionals to implement individual learning plans
Who We\'re Looking For
We welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds - whether you\'re experienced in SEND settings or simply eager to learn more and grow in this area.
Key Requirements
* A genuine passion for working with children and young people
* A basic understanding of special educational needs
* Some experience working or volunteering with children (formal or informal)
* A proactive and compassionate approach to learning support
* Up-to-date safeguarding training (we can provide this if needed)
