We have a new opportunity to be part of our Programme team in the role of Project Planner.
As a Project Planner, you will play a key role in creating, maintaining, and communicating realistic and strategic timing plans across a diverse portfolio of projects. Working cross-functionally with Design, Manufacturing, and Operations teams, you will help to ensure that each project progresses according to plan—contributing directly to our objective of consistently being a top team in the FIA Formula One™ Constructors’ Championship.
Developing and maintaining comprehensive project timing plans, sequencing tasks and activities required to achieve successful project delivery.
Updating plans regularly to reflect current progress, baseline project milestones, and assess any deviations in timing.
Identifying and communicating project risks and opportunities, ensuring key stakeholders are informed in a timely and effective manner.
Producing and maintaining project health and status reports, using appropriate tools such as Power BI or other reporting platforms.
Collaborating with stakeholders across departments, attending planning meetings, and proactively driving progress.
Designing and refining planning tools and reporting solutions that enhance project visibility and coordination.
Managing the overall project portfolio and ensuring full integration with business systems.
Supporting and contributing to a continuous improvement culture within the planning function.
Excellent working knowledge of mainstream PPM software (e.g. Microsoft PWA, Primavera P6, or similar).
Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies—formal qualifications such as Prince 2, APM PMQ, or equivalent experience preferred.
Strong experience with Power BI or similar tools for reporting and dashboarding.
A good amount of experience in a planning or coordination role within automotive, aerospace, motorsport, or high-precision engineering/manufacturing.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments while managing shifting priorities.
This is a full-time office-based role based at our campus in Silverstone, with additional requirement to travel to other locations where necessary.
