Overview
We are seeking a skilled General Manager to oversee the operations of our restaurant in a a beautiful scenic village setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, team management, and food sales.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day operations of the pub and restaurant, including overseeing staff, inventory, and customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance overall restaurant performance
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to maintain high-quality food standards
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry
- Proficiency in restaurant operations, including bartending, food preparation, and kitchen management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor staff
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service
