A fast-growing industrial manufacturing SaaS spinout, this company is building an AI-native Insight & Decision Platform that connects to existing maintenance and procurement systems to turn operational data into predictive insights and autonomous decisions.
The mission: help manufacturers move from systems of record to systems of execution, powered by applied AI.
Core focus areas:
* Intelligent Inventory – predictive stock optimisation
* Better Buying – autonomous procurement
* Absolute Automation – removing manual admin
Small, agile team (4 developers + Founder/CEO) with a major pilot planned for mid-2026 and strong parent‑company backing.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and deploy AI features (intelligent search, procurement agents, predictive maintenance).
* Build and integrate LLM‑driven agents, RAG pipelines, and predictive models.
* Collaborate with software engineers to embed AI securely into production.
* Define AI standards, select tools, and shape the technical roadmap.
* Opportunity to progress to CTO‑level as the business scales.
Key Requirements
* 5+ years’ experience in AI/ML or software engineering, with production delivery.
* Hands‑on with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or LangGraph.
* Proficient in model deployment on cloud.
* Background in industrial manufacturing or B2B software (preferred).
* Entrepreneurial, self‑driven, and collaborative.
* Salary: £75,000–£90,000 + 10–20% bonus (linked to MVP pilot)
* Location: Slough (Hybrid - 2+ days/week)
