Buying Assistant

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and proactive individual to join a fast-paced retail environment, where you’ll gain hands-on experience and be supported to develop into a future buying/procurement professional.
The Role
Working closely with the buying team, you’ll play a key role in supporting the management of a busy and varied product range, including:
Monitoring stock levels and placing orders
Supporting supplier coordination and third-party packing processes
Handling product enquiries, calls, and emails
Raising purchase orders and maintaining product data (SKUs)
Managing delivery paperwork and resolving discrepancies
Building relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Providing day-to-day administrative support to the buying function
About You
We’re less focused on experience and more interested in attitude and potential:
Keen to develop a career in purchasing/procurement
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Confident communicator with a proactive approach
Commercially aware with a willingness to learn
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Comfortable using Excel and general systems
Retail or admin experience is helpful but not essential
