Hays are working with an established not for profit organisation in the Milton Keynes area who require an Assistant Accountant to join the team for a 12 month fixed term contract.
Your new role
The Assistant Accountant is a key member of the Finance team and supports the delivery of Management Accounts and business analysis to the organisation.
The key aim for the role is to prepare and submit all gift aid claims, have a keen eye for detail and the ability to handle low to high volume data and spot any anomalies, record all ies accurately, assist in the preparation of the management accounts, resolve any queries, assist with reporting and analysis requests, and accounts administration as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this position will have strong Excel skills, excellent accuracy and attention to detail, experience in an accounts assistant position, with strong written and verbalmunication skills. A good team player who can work proactively and independently.
