Job Overview We are looking for an experience Energy Manager to develop, implement, and monitor energy solutions that enhance sustainability and reduce energy costs across operational electricity, gas, and water use. The Energy Manager will play a key role in supporting Moto’s decarbonisation roadmap and driving energy efficiency initiatives across all sites. What can I expect in return Up to 20% annual bonus Car/Car Allowance 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Health insurance, Life Assurance, enhanced maternity and paternity pay Up to 60% discount for you, your partner as well as your family and friends Fabulous training and development opportunities including funding qualifications Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement energy efficiency initiatives aligned with Moto’s commitment to net zero Develop and advise on energy solutions, converting ideas into actionable projects Prepare feasibility studies and costed business cases for energy reduction projects Monitor and verify project performance to ensure cost and energy efficiency Stay ahead of best practices and emerging technologies in energy efficiency and sustainability Monitor and achieve consumption and associated emissions targets by brand and site, driving utility savings through effective planning and reporting Maintain knowledge of legal, statutory, and technical energy requirements Support development of an effective environmental management system aligned to best practice standards such as ISO14001 Work with Internal Communications to influence operational behaviours and promote energy efficiency Collaborate with Maintenance and Property teams on energy efficiency implementation and continuous improvement Key member of Sustainability working groups presenting key initiatives and updates on progress. What we are looking for • Proven experience in energy management or a related field Strong knowledge of energy efficiency technologies, renewable energy solutions, and carbon reduction strategies Experience conducting energy audits and feasibility studies Familiarity with energy legislation, compliance requirements, and best practice standards (e.g., ISO14001) Ability to analyse data and produce ROI-based business cases for energy-saving initiatives Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience influencing behavioural change Strong project management skills, including monitoring and verification of energy projects.
