Full Time NHS Agency Nurse
Overview:
We're actively seeking dedicated and compassionate full time Registered General Nurses (Band 5) to join our team as agency nurses across Edinburgh. As a Registered General Nurse, you'll thrive in diverse environments, working across various wards including medical, rehabilitation, and surgical units. Your primary focus will be delivering top-quality nursing care to patients, addressing both their physical needs and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities:
1. Provide direct nursing care to patients, assisting with daily tasks, monitoring vital signs, and administering medication.
2. Evaluate patient needs, develop individualised care plans, and perform necessary nursing procedures.
3. Collaborate with other health care professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication.
4. Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and medical histories.
5. Educate patients and their families on health issues, medication regimens, and self-care techniques.
6. Respond to emergencies swiftly and provide immediate medical attention as required.
Competitive and Clear Pay Rates:
7. Monday to Friday Day Shift: £31.10 per hour
8. Saturday Day Shift: £40.43 per hour
9. Sunday Day and Night Shift: £49.75 per hour
10. Monday to Saturday Night Shift: £40.43 per hour
Requirements:
11. NMC registration
12. A minimum of 12 months post qualified work experience
13. Strong clinical skills and meticulous attention to detail
14. Effective teamwork and the ability to work independently
