Overview
Patient Care Advisor role at Cora Health, Hull RMC. No healthcare experience required. We are looking for individuals with a background in customer service and some contact centre and call handling experience. Patient Care Advisors (PCAs) are the first point of contact, guiding patients through options for their care and providing support for assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. The aim is to make a person’s care as straightforward as possible by providing one point of contact near their home.
We are seeking warm, friendly and professional colleagues who will deliver an exceptional patient experience. You should be energetic, flexible with a can-do approach, have good IT skills, and be passionate about understanding patient needs and resolving queries over the telephone.
Shift pattern includes 40 hours per week on a rota basis.
Responsibilities
* Deliver a first-class patient experience by handling queries and providing information and support via telephone and email.
* Book appointments and manage patient information in line with processes and procedures.
* Communicate in a clear, concise, warm, and friendly manner, bringing your personality to the role.
* Adhere to core values: can-do attitude, empathy, and commitment to better healthcare.
* Work as part of the Patient Care Centre to support patients with care options and follow-up needs.
Qualifications
* Desirable: Previous call centre experience.
* Desirable: Healthcare background.
