Job Summary
We’re seeking a qualified and accredited Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our integrated primary care mental health team at HMP Millsike. As a PWP, you will deliver high-quality, low-intensity cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) interventions to clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression, aligning with Step 2 IAPT guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct person-centred assessments, manage referrals, and support individuals in their self-management and recovery journeys.
* Deliver guided self-help in both 1:1 and group settings, drawing from CBT principles.
* Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams, attending meetings, and contributing to step-up and step-down arrangements.
* Ensure accurate data entry and maintain high standards in clinical record-keeping and confidentiality.
* Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, upholding Rethink Mental Illness values.

Job Responsibilities/Job Summary
I work as part of an integrated primary care mental health team within the Prison to provide high-volume, low-intensity interventions which will include CBT-based self-management interventions for clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression. This includes providing guided self-help in 1:1 and group formats, in line with Step 2 IAPT guidelines. I am an accredited PWP, either with BPS or BABCP.
Essential Qualifications
* Completed the IAPT Low Intensity National Programme and hold a PWP accreditation (BPS or BABCP).
* Experience providing low-intensity, evidence-based interventions in a stepped-care environment.
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases.
Desirable
* Experience in a prison setting or with offender populations.
