We are recruiting for a Technical Operative to join our Pride in East Lindsey District Councils Coastal Access team, based at our Mablethorpe depot.
Our team is responsible for carrying out sand clearance operations along the coastline of the East Lindsey District, keeping the foreshores clean and tidy for residents and visitors. You will be joining a dedicated team that operates in all weather conditions throughout the year.
Typical duties
* Assist the Pride in East Lindsey (Coastal Access) Senior Technical Operative in carrying out sand clearance operations along the coastline.
* Operate sand clearance plant and machinery.
* Assist in the maintenance and cleansing of the Council’s public places and open spaces as required.
What do we need from you?
* Full current & valid Cat B driving licence.
* Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
* Ability to work independently, use initiative, work under pressure, and keep good records of vehicle/plant defects and maintenance.
