Engineering Team Leader (Building Services / Maintenance)

£40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Monday - Friday (Days)
Are you a hands on engineering team leader/supervisor, with a background in electrical or mechanical engineering?
Do you have experience working in an environment such as distribution centres or warehouses
Our client is looking for an Engineering Team Leader to oversee PPMs and reactive maintenance of building services plant, as well as work hands on when required. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a basic salary of up to £45,000 per annum, clear progression path, overtime, and career stability.
Your main duties will include (but not limited to):
* Maintain, modify, test, service, fault find and repair various electrical equipment mainly in support of site infrastructure services which would typically include:
* Control Panel maintenance.
* Motors, pumps, inverters drives, conveyors
* Bay doors, dock levellers and wheel locks
* Testing and Inspecting (PAT, RCD’s & electrical installations)
* LV systems
* Internal and external lighting
* Cranes
* Ability to fault find and have good problem solving and organisation skills.
* Ability to complete concise comprehensive work records and reports.
* Good communication skills.
* Experience of dealing with demanding Client requirements.
Requirements for this role:
* An Apprenticeship served Multi-skilled Engineer to supervise a team of technicians in the 24 hour / 7 day per week warehouse operation.
* PC literate and previous use of facilities maintenance planning tools
* To schedule the work load to ensure delivery to SLA and ensuring maximum up time of all equipment
* To be able to work 1 Saturday a month
On offer is a permanent position, paying a basic salary of between £40,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience, 25 days annual leave plus stats, clear career progression and stability and overtime.
