Assembly Operative (Manufacturing)
Location: Haverhill, Suffolk. Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour. Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:30am - 5:00pm.
Duties Include
- Manual handling of roof box components (lids and bases approximately 6kg)
- Placing components onto workstations ready for assembly
- Assembling products using hand tools, including rivet guns
- Accurate hand application of labels
- Working to production and quality targets
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping
- Reporting near misses and unsafe conditions in line with health and safety procedures
Working Environment
- Manufacturing and assembly line setting
- Fast-paced and target-driven environment
- Can be noisy and warm, particularly during summer months or cold during winter months

- Safety footwear required - minimum S1P certification (S3 or S5 also acceptable)
Candidate Requirements
- Ability to work in a physically active role, including manual handling
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience desirable but not essential
