As Project Compliance Manager, you will be central to ensuring projects are delivered safely, compliantly, on time and within budget. The role You will support the team by leading and managing projects day to day, developing effective project management processes, and maintaining oversight of performance, cost, quality and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Project management responsibilities include: Controlling and reporting project performance using KPIs in partnership with responsible managers Clearly defining and continuously refining project objectives with clients and internal stakeholders Coordinating project teams to ensure workflows remain on schedule Assigning tasks, setting milestones, and ensuring clarity around deliverables Supporting project leads with progress tracking, performance monitoring and stakeholder updates Attending project meetings and producing clear, timely reporting on cost, progress and quality Commercial and financial support: Supporting the Senior Quantity Surveyor with monthly Applications for Payment Assisting management with reporting on asset capital expenditure and depreciation Supporting commercial decision‑making and cost control Helping set, manage and adhere to budgets while identifying cost‑saving opportunities Supporting the development of bespoke systems and procedures to maximise profitability for Heidelberg Materials Operational responsibilities: Reviewing existing systems and procedures and identifying opportunities for improvement Providing accurate record‑keeping, reporting and analysis to support informed decision‑making Documentation and compliance: Developing and implementing document control procedures aligned to changes in project scope Managing the full document lifecycle from creation and distribution through to archiving Ensuring documents comply with contractual requirements, site rules and company standards Managing project‑specific software and IMS systems, including updates and tracker maintenance Controlling key deadlines for contractual responses Preparing reports on document management activity and ensuring secure long‑term archiving Acting as a key point of contact for document‑related queries across project teams and clients What we're looking for You'll be highly organised, commercially aware, and confident working across multiple stakeholder groups.
