As a QA Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the excellence of packaging products by conducting thorough quality assessments and applying your expertise in packaging production and printing methods. What your days will look like: Conduct comprehensive quality checks on packaging products at various stages of the production process to identify any defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from established standards. Utilise your expertise in packaging production and printing methods to assess and verify the accuracy of design, colour, material, and overall product integrity. Collaborate closely with cross functional teams including production, design, and quality assurance to address any identified issues and recommend necessary corrective actions. Maintain detailed records of quality assessments, observations, and findings, and communicate this information effectively to relevant stakeholders. Participate in continuous improvement efforts by providing insights and recommendations to enhance packaging production processes, minimise defects, and improve overall product quality. Stay up to date with industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies in packaging production and printing methods to consistently apply best practices and innovative solutions. Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures, guidelines, and standards, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and customer expectations. What are we looking for? A proven track record of attention to detail and meticulousness in conducting quality assessments, particularly within the packaging industry. Substantial experience in packaging production and printing methods, demonstrating a deep understanding of various materials, printing techniques, and production processes. Strong problem solving skills with the ability to analyse complex issues, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions. Excellent communication skills to convey quality related information clearly and professionally to diverse teams and stakeholders. Collaborative and team oriented mindset, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. Proficiency in relevant software and tools used for quality assessments, data recording, and reporting.
