Job Description – Vehicle Electrician (Cyprus) Industry: Automotive Location: Cyprus Interview Mode: Online only Joining: Immediately after work permit approval Role Overview The Vehicle Electrician will diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical and electronic systems in commercial buses. The role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on experience, and the ability to supervise semi-skilled technicians. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair electrical/electronic faults in commercial buses. Perform maintenance, servicing, and repair tasks on vehicle electrical systems. Ensure all repairs comply with ISO standards and government safety guidelines. Operate diagnostic tools and interpret electrical diagrams. Carry out specialized AC system work (advantage). Maintain accurate technical and service records. Supervise and guide semi-skilled technicians. Requirements Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred). Vocational training (ITI or equivalent) with relevant experience may be considered. Minimum 3 years of workshop experience. Experience with heavy vehicles (buses/trucks). Mandatory: Familiarity with Euro 6 engines and use of diagnostic tools. Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams/circuits. Basic computer literacy (MS Office). Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills. Compensation & Benefits Gross Annual Salary: €17,251 – €26,000 (based on skills/experience). 13 salaries per year (12 monthly Christmas bonus). Annual Increment: Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) ~2%. Overtime Pay: Mon–Sat: 1.5x Sundays/Public Holidays: 2x Shift Allowance: 5% for work after 2 PM.
