A growing manufacturing company located in Colchester, Essex are currently recruiting for a Sheet Metal Fabricator on a temporary - permanent basis. This role is paying between £12.50 - £13.20 per hour, depending on experience. Working hours: Monday - Friday, 6am - 2pm Duties in the role: As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, you will be operating metal spinning machines to form components Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings Measuring and cutting materials accurately using a variety of hand and power tools Using welding equipment to assemble and join sheet metal parts Conducting quality inspections to ensure all finished products meet required specifications Collaborating with engineers and fellow fabricators to support production activities across the site Operating rolling machines within the fabrication department Candidate requirements: Diploma, apprenticeship or NVQ within welding/fabrication, engineering or similar Must be able to read from technical drawings Will have used fabrication equipment such as rollers and spinning machines Experience working on welding machines is beneficial Background using various hand/power tools and fabrication machinery is needed Benefits: Room for progression Training Provided State of the art facilities Weekly Pay whilst working on a temporary basis via Prime Appointments Overtime Available in peak periods Industry: Manufacturing and Production If you are a Sheet Metal Fabricator looking for a new role, apply online today or for more information, speak with Jack at Prime Appointments, you will find my contact details on our website.
