Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work across our partnership secondary schools in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong behaviour management skills who are looking to gain classroom experience or enhance their career in education.
Working as a Cover Supervisor with Teaching Personnel allows you to experience a range of school settings while enjoying the flexibility to choose when and where you work.
The Role:
* Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain on task and engaged.
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
* Support pupils in maintaining a positive and focused learning environment.
* Work across a variety of subjects and year groups within secondary schools.
* Follow school policies and report any incidents appropriately.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
* Confidence to lead a classroom and manage pupils independently.
* Experience working with young people – for example, as a teaching assistant, sports coach, or youth worker.
* A positive, professional, and flexible approach.
* Willingness to apply for an Enhanced DBS certificate (assistance provided if required).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
