Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Specialist with a passion for supporting children in their early years?
GSL Education are currently recruiting an experienced EYFS Specialist to work in a nurturing school setting in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the foundation stage of children’s learning and development.
As an EYFS Specialist, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons tailored to the Early Years curriculum.
* Create a warm, supportive, and stimulating environment that encourages curiosity and independent learning.
* Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development while fostering early literacy and numeracy skills.
* Use assessment strategies to track progress and inform teaching approaches.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for children.
* Uphold safeguarding, child protection, and behaviour management standards at all times.
Requirements for the role of EYFS Specialist:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
* Experience teaching in an EYFS setting is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A complete, updated CV covering the last 10 years with explanations for any gaps.
