Position Details
* 12‑hour shift, 7 a.m.–7:30 p.m. (Set Schedule: Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays)
* 36 hours per week; benefitted
Position Summary
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs direct patient care tasks under the direction of the Registered Nurse and performs various tasks as competency documentation designates. Work occasionally requires internal contacts outside the work group to exchange relevant information. Communication with external contacts involves providing or giving factual information.
Education/Experience
* High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma.
* One year of clinical experience is required or successful completion of the intern program.
Qualifications
* Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
* Medical Assistant (MA) certification.
* Nursing student or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who has completed fundamental nursing skills coursework.
* Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.
* BLS certification provided by AHA.
* Other relevant certifications as required.
Salary Range
Minimum $17.37 per hour – Maximum $26.91 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
