The Company
You will be joining a reputable hire company as a engineering manager with a strong industry reputation, with excellent career progression and ongoing training opportunities available. Responsibilities the Engineering Manager include:
8. Managing a team of circa 14 people including fitters and drivers
9. Lead the team to deliver high standards across the depot.
10. Achieve targets on sales, profit, stock management and customer satisfaction.
11. Ensure compliance with company systems policies and procedures
12. Carry out P&L's, budgeting and any administration tasks.
13. Develop relationships with key customers, ensuring high service delivery standards
14. Champion Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) standards.
To be successful in this Engineering Manager role you will have:
15. Strong team leadership and coaching skills
16. Exceptional organisational and time-management skills
17. Experience with profit and loss.
18. Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
19. Relevant experience in pumps, compressors, generators, and/or the construction industry.
20. Proven experience in a managerial role within a similar sector.
You will have knowledge and experience of the following construction sectors; plant hire, tool hire, lifting, non-mechanical, power generation hire, accommodation hire or other specialist equipment hire.
