Pet Nutrition (PN) is the most vibrant category in the FMCG sector. Our new program, Digital First, is designed to place pet parents at the heart of everything we do. By digitalizing a wide range of business processes, we aim to create future-fit capabilities that drive top-line growth and enhance pet parent centricity. This ambitious agenda requires you to demonstrate thought leadership, quality decision-making, and deep technical know-how while building and leading a world-class data and analytics team.
Your Role
As a key player in our Digital First initiative, you will:
* Provide Technical Leadership: Guide data engineers and DevOps engineers across growth product teams, championing best practices in data engineering.
* Define Engineering Standards: Maintain and evolve data engineering standards and frameworks, ensuring consistency and quality across solutions.
* Drive DataOps Optimization: Implement modern DataOps principles to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
* Ensure Data Governance: Embed governance, security, and data quality practices into engineering workflows, promoting trust in our data assets.
* Engage Stakeholders: Collaborate with PN D&A leadership and product owners to synchronize data priorities and maximize value through data utilization.
What You Bring
We’re looking for candidates with:
* Expertise in Commercial/Procurement Analytics
* Experience with SAP (S/4 Hana)
* Proficiency in Data Processing Tools: Familiarity with Spark, Databricks, or similar tools.
* Strong Technical Skills: Data modeling, SQL, NoSQL databases, and data warehousing.
* Hands-on Experience: Data pipeline development, ETL processes, and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
* Cloud Platform Knowledge: Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their data services.
* DataOps Practices: Familiarity with CI/CD for data pipelines.
* Leadership and Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Focus on driving actionable insights from complex data sets.
