Job Description
Come and join our team at Bennachie View care home if you would like to make a positive difference to those we support. Various contracts available, these are fixed-term posts not exceeding 12 months. The right candidates will receive full training, support, and become part of a well-established caring team. There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organization.
These vacancies require flexible evening and weekend working; successful candidates will work on a 3-week rolling rota. The hourly rate is £14.21, with enhanced payments for weekend work. Early shifts are from 7 am to 2:30 pm, and late shifts are from 2:30 pm to 10 pm.

Support the provision of care by attending to the needs and rights of older individuals within a caring environment.

This post involves regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.
You must obtain SSSC registration within 3 months of employment; note that due to recent changes and portal closure, the 3-month period starts from June 3, 2024.
A minimum of two references are required, including one from your current or most recent employer.
