We’re on the lookout for a Deputy Customer Experience Manager to join us at The Pet Vet Portsmouth. This is a full-time position, covering 1 in 4 weekends, with the aim of delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming, efficient environment for customers and their pets.
Responsibilities
* Support the Customer Experience Manager in leading the team of Customer Experience Coordinators to create a positive, friendly and efficient environment for customers and their pets.
* Assist with a deskless reception: confidently greet customers as they enter, guide them to seating areas, offer refreshments, and complete check-in/check-out on a tablet. Upsell products and services where appropriate (e.g., Pet Health Plan).
* Be proactive in delivering high-quality service to existing customers and help extend reach to drive higher footfall to the surgery. This includes posting regularly to local social media accounts with engaging content.
* Participate in training and CPD opportunities for veterinary reception teams provided through the BVRA.
Qualifications
* Experience in the service or hospitality industry is preferred.
* Strong customer-service focus and a proactive, approachable attitude.
