Wraparound Care Lead – Term-Time Role (Min 12 Hours Guaranteed)

Salary: £ £13.50 per hour
Contract Type: Part-Time, Term-Time Only
Hours: Minimum 12 hours per week – flexible up to 20 hours per week
Start Date: September 2025 (subject to pre-employment checks)
We're looking for a reliable, caring and organised individual to lead our wraparound care sessions in a local primary school – supporting children before and after their school day in a safe, fun environment.
This is a great role for someone who wants stable, term-time hours, and the chance to build strong relationships with children, parents, and school staff.
Working Pattern:
* Minimum of 12 hours/week guaranteed, with the option to increase up to 20 hours/week
* Shifts fall between 7:30am–8:45am and 3:15pm–6:00pm, Monday to Friday
What You'll Be Doing:
* Leading and supervising engaging before- and after-school sessions
* Providing a safe, welcoming and structured environment for children aged 4–11
* Supporting a small team of playworkers and activity staff
* Liaising with parents and school staff to ensure a smooth handover
* Supporting snack prep, registers and daily safety checks
What We're Looking For:
* Experience working with children in schools, clubs or care settings
* Great communication and leadership skills
* Friendly, proactive and calm under pressure
* Level 2+ qualification in childcare, Playwork or similar (desirable)
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
