Project Engineer (Traffic & Road Safety) - 00315. West Berkshire Council is looking for a Project Engineer in the Highways Network Management Team. Responsibilities
* Manage the design and construction of a variety of Traffic and Road Safety highway improvement projects.
* Involvement in accident investigation and prevention work.
* Assist other teams within the Council by offering Traffic and Road Safety advice for new and existing signing and lining schemes and TROs and TTROs.
Qualifications
* Qualified to Degree level or equivalent, with proven experience in the design, management and supervision of Traffic and Road Safety highway improvement schemes and small highway engineering projects.
* Knowledge of TROs and TTRO processes.
* Experience with AccMAps and AutoCad Base signing and Lining design packages is ideal.
