We’re looking for an experienced and highly organised Production Manager to join a growing live events team delivering technical production and exhibition stand builds across the UK and internationally.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you’ll take full ownership of complex projects – from initial concept and costing through to onsite delivery and reconciliation.
You’ll work across a broad portfolio of exhibitions, conferences, and live activations, supporting the planning and execution of high-impact events while ensuring every detail is delivered to the highest standard.
What You'll Be Doing
* Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of events and exhibitions
* Act as the key point of contact for clients and venues (pre, during & post-event)
* Cost and manage project budgets, track quotes, and ensure on-time delivery
* Manage health & safety, floorplans, schedules, and supplier briefs
* Create and manage client meetings, agendas, action plans, and post-event reports
* Oversee logistics, staffing, and production timelines from concept to completion
* Use digital tools and project management systems to streamline delivery
* Contribute to new business development and up-selling opportunities
* Support a collaborative and driven events team through leadership and mentorship
What You Bring
* 4+ years’ experience in production/project management for live events, exhibitions, or activations
* Strong knowledge of fabrication, staging, AV, power/connectivity, and onsite logistics
* Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and teams under pressure
* Understanding of technical drawings, schematics, and build methods
* Familiar with graphics formats, artwork specs, and print production
* Strong communication and leadership skills with client-facing confidence
* Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
* Able to multi-task across multiple deadlines and priorities
* Results-focused, with commercial awareness and a passion for quality
Bonus If You Have:
* Training or qualifications in Event/Production Management or technical fields (AV, lighting, rigging, etc.)
* Experience with AutoCAD, Vectorworks, SketchUp, or 3D design tools
* IOSH or other H&S certifications
* Experience across multiple industries/sectors
* Full UK Driving Licence

Location: Office-based in Leicester (LE3), with national/international travel as required.
