We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Graduate Commercial Property Manager to join our team on a fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to develop their skills in commercial property management within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the management of our property portfolio, ensuring that tenants receive a high standard of service and that all lease obligations are met.
Key Responsibilities
1. Tenant Communication: Draft and send correspondence to tenants regarding property management matters, including arrears, lease responsibilities, and building maintenance.
2. Lease Management: Read and interpret lease agreements to understand tenant responsibilities and ensure compliance.
3. Facilities Coordination: Liaise with facility managers to ensure that maintenance works are carried out efficiently and in accordance with lease terms.
4. Property Administration: Maintain accurate property records, update MRI property management system, and ensure all data is kept up to date.
5. Financial Administration: Assist with raising purchase orders (POs) and tracking payments related to property management activities.
6. Arrears Management: Monitor and follow up on outstanding tenant payments in line with company policies.
7. General Support: Provide administrative assistance to the wider property management team as required.
Requirements
1. A degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Business, or a related field.
2. Strong attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret lease agreements proficiently.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in drafting professional correspondence.
4. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work within a structured process.
5. Strong organisational and administrative skills, with experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
6. Experience using MRI or other property management software is an advantage but not essential.
7. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
