About the role As our Senior Management Accountant, you’ll be responsible for accurate financial reporting, strong balance sheet control, and supporting budgeting, forecasting and analysis across the business. You’ll also play a key role in month-end and year-end close, audit support, reconciliations and compliance activity, while working with stakeholders across the organisation to turn financial information into clear, practical insight. What you’ll be doing Preparing accurate and timely financial reporting, including management accounts and supporting analysis Supporting month-end and year-end close activity Maintaining and reconciling the general ledger Producing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring financial accuracy and control Supporting budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis Providing financial insight and commentary to support decision-making Working closely with stakeholders across the business to gather information and improve understanding of performance Supporting audit activity and ensuring compliance with internal controls Assisting with tax and regulatory reporting requirements Helping finance operate as a strong commercial partner to the wider business. About you You’re a qualified accountant with previous experience in financial accounting or a similar role. You’re technically strong, comfortable working with detail, and confident taking ownership of core accounting responsibilities. You’ll also be a clear communicator who works well with non-finance stakeholders. Strong Excel skills Confidence using accounting systems and the ability to become a super user for the finance team D365 experience is desirable.
