**Job Opportunity: HGV or LCV technician/mechanic
**Role and Responsibilities:**
We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our dynamic team in the role of HGV or LCV technician. As a technician at Alex Aiken and Son, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing, conducting routine inspections and servicing and occasional breakdown work on a diverse fleet of vehicles. Your tasks will include:
* Diagnosing and identifying mechanical, electrical, and technical issues in all makes of vehicles
* Executing repairs efficiently and effectively to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety.
* Conducting routine inspections to identify potential problems and prevent future breakdowns.
* Performing regular maintenance tasks.
* Collaborating with the team to ensure seamless workflow and exceptional service delivery.
* Upholding the highest standards of workmanship and quality in all tasks.
-Overtime, shift and on call allowances available
**Qualifications and Skills:**
- Proven experience as a technician/mechanic showcasing your expertise in diagnostics, repairs and inspections.
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems, components, and latest technological advancements.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
- Relevant certifications/qualifications or experience in automotive technology.
