The Role:
* Inspect Components: Ensure components meet specifications using route cards, customer drawings, and instructions.
* Identify non-conforming products, materials, or processes and raise issues in a timely manner. Ensure all non-conformance reports (NCRs) are properly documented and that corrective actions are tracked and closed
* Precision Measurement: Use manual tools like height gauges, verniers, and shadow graphs.
* Documentation: Create quality documentation including First Article Inspection, NCR'S, and critical dimensions reports.
* Communication: Effectively communicate inspection results and deviations to the machining team.
* Team Player: Thrive in a fast-paced machine shop and inspection environment.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience: Mechanical engineering background with inspection experience using manual handheld tools.
* CMM Skills: Experience with CMM programming and inspecting complex components.
* Technical Savvy: Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
* Quality Focus: Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems and ISIR/FAIR requirements.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to interact with internal teams and external customers.
