We are excited to be recruiting a Sales and Event Manager for The Venue at Brackley Town Football Club!
This is a great opportunity to work at our Football Club (who play at National League North Level), that boasts a great space to host events, private bookings, football matches, community space and corporate business bookings.
Essentially, we’re looking for someone who can come in and fill the diary with bookings. There are regular events being held at The Venue already, but we want someone to take it to its maximum capacity and turn it into the premier choice for venues in the area.
You’re working with a great modern space with two bars, a capacity of up to 200, great accessibility, and of course an incredible view of St James Park! You have a captive audience of 700+ on matchdays so already have huge levels of exposure!
You will be part of a busy, but small operations team working in a customer-focused role. You’ll also work alongside a team of volunteers, so knowing how to get the best from someone in a voluntary role is very important.
You will be the first port of call for venue enquiries. Some will be reactive; some will be proactive – but you’ll be someone who will not want to sit around waiting for enquiries, but will go out there and make it happen.
This will be done by creating marketing campaigns, digital assets, and engaging content across multiple social media channels.
We’re looking for someone with event experience, ideally in a venue setting. You will be familiar with the P&L and have the commercial acumen to make a space like this a real success.
This is a venue-based role in Brackley so you will need to currently be commutable to the office. It is initially a part time role (2/3 days per week, but there is scope for this to turn in to a full time role if the right person can make the right things happen!
Salary wise you will be looking at between £28,000 and £32,000 (pro-rata) depending on experience and there are lots of other perks that come with the role too!
