To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Design Estimator to come and join our team at our Dewsbury Office (WF12 9EF).
Responsibilities
* Determine product requirements and, where required, produce suitable drawings from appropriate customer enquiries
* Deliver increased sales and improved profitability through specification within the building products sector
* Develop new and existing customer relationships to maximize the full potential of all accounts within the territory
* Answer technical customer queries and questions via e-mail, telephone and on site visits
* Manage project administration, ensuring that drawings, correspondence and other project-related documents are filed and maintained
* Deliver customer quotations within required timelines and company expectations
* Be an influence and integral participant in the ways of working within the department to help maximize opportunities
* Weekly chase quotes via telephone & e-mail and maintain relationships
* Stay up to date with changes in British standards and building regulations
* Monitor the stages of a project to ensure that costs remain in line with forecasts
* Set up new customer accounts and liaise with QS’s & Buyers to help settle accounts
Qualifications and Experience
* Strong organizational skills with the capacity to be self‑directed
* High level computer user including MS Office package
* Continuous improvement mindset
* Excellent listening and questioning abilities
* A professional and proactive attitude with strong problem‑solving skills
* Positive and approachable manner
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, including written and verbal formats
* Excellent time‑management skills, high level of detail, and ability to prioritize
* Proven CAD/quotation experience
