Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable NVQ Assessor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing and supporting learners in their vocational qualifications. This position requires a strong commitment to education and the ability to guide students through their learning journey, ensuring they meet the required standards for their NVQ qualifications.
Duties
* Conduct assessments of learners in various vocational settings, ensuring compliance with NVQ standards.
* Provide constructive feedback to learners, helping them to improve their skills and knowledge.
* Develop and maintain assessment plans tailored to individual learner needs.
* Collaborate with employers and training providers to ensure a cohesive approach to learner development.
* Keep accurate records of assessments, progress, and learner achievements.
* Stay updated with changes in NVQ standards and educational practices to enhance assessment quality.
* Facilitate teaching sessions as required, promoting an engaging learning environment.
Skills
* Strong teaching skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with learners and stakeholders.
* Organisational skills to manage multiple assessments and maintain accurate records.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to adapt assessments based on learner needs.
* Knowledge of current vocational training practices and NVQ standards is highly desirable.

Pay: £12.21-£20.00 per hour
