Overview
Plant Chemistry - Nuclear Graduates 2026 is a two-year graduate programme with two years of employment through Energus, supported by industry-leading sponsor organisations. The programme provides insight into the UK nuclear sector across science, engineering and business, with exposure to projects that impact energy generation, waste management, transport and decommissioning. The 2026 cohort is sponsored by: Rolls-Royce, the Office for Nuclear Regulation, the Atomic Weapons Establishment, the Ministry of Defence - Defence Nuclear Enterprise, Great British Energy - Nuclear, and the Environment Agency.
As a Plant Chemistry Nuclear Graduate, you will develop and apply an understanding of plant chemistry and corrosion across the full naval reactor life cycle, gaining experience in plant water chemistry, plant radiochemistry, plant corrosion, and chemical analysis.

Qualifications / Requirements
* Minimum of a 2:2 at Bachelors level in Chemistry, Materials, or other science-focused degrees (strong science background considered)
* Right to work for the duration of the two-year programme (offers conditional on satisfactory checks)
* Successful completion of security clearance checks
* Willingness to travel and relocate; Energus head office is in Workington, Cumbria, with role locations varying by sponsor location
