Intelligence (“BI”) leader, with strong technical skills and a proven track record of building high performance teams and producing reporting and analytics which drive business performance.The ideal candidate will possess acute problem-solving skills, strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate to identify and deliver new ways of working and greater insight.Working closely with EMEA commercial leaders, and leading a team of skilled BI analysts, this role will champion the use of data and insights, through the production of visually engaging dashboards and reporting, while ensuring data governance, pipeline efficiency and modelling approach continue to provide a strong foundation for reporting and analysis across the region.The role will lead the development of front-end BI systems supporting our EMEA business and will play a key role in defining data strategy, refining, and introducing new KPI’s/Metrics and overseeing the introduction of AI and ML use cases for analytics as the team move toward advanced analytics.Collaboration is crucial and the role will partner closely with EMEA commercial leaders to align solutions with business objectives, BI engineering teams to support prioritisation, ensure data completeness and accuracy, and functional experts in the development of dashboards and reporting which both engage and inform.**To be successful in this role you will need to:*** Drive the development and implementation of our BI strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.* Drive the development of BI solutions to address real business challenges and drive a data centric approach.* Partner closely with commercial leaders and functional experts to understand, define and deliver data solutions, inclusive of insightful KPI’s and comprehensive BI applications.* Catalogue Data effectively and oversee projects to improve both data clarity and quality.* Work collaboratively with BI engineering teams to ensure data and data models are effective, governed and data pipelines remain healthy.* Lead and manage a team of highly skilled analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.* Identify opportunities to widen data scope and source data effectively and appropriately from both internal and external sources.* Work with Data Protection and Privacy experts to ensure data is appropriately secured and all GDPR regulations are adhered to.* Monitoring BI application usage and working with users and application owners to ensure BI reporting remain relevant.* Promote data literacy across the organisation.* Introduce new ways of working to drive efficiency and Insight, ensuring that new technical developments are assess and integrated into current work processes where necessary.* Guide standardisation and normalisation of data from multiple sources.* Support migration to new tools.* Identify clear use cases for advanced data solutions inclusive of ML and AI.**Job Skills & Experience Required:**To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following:* Degree Level standard of education or equivalent (masters in a data related subject preferred).* Minimum of 5 years in a data leadership role, including people management.* Expert knowledge of Power BI/Fabric /SQL, with proven track record of delivering BI reporting, in scope and within agreed timeframes.* Exposure to SAP BW/Datasphere/Databricks/MDM tools is beneficials.* Strong data modelling experience including normalisation, standardisation and creation of Star and Snowflake Schemas.* Good knowledge of GDPR and data privacy regulations.* Knowledgeable about developments in reporting and analytics.* Experience of working in a fast paced multinational
