Introduction
We are looking to recruit and train inspectors within the wiring harness assembly.
About the Role
1. The Harness Build Inspectors primary function is to ensure that all products in build within the harness manufacturing area meet all specifications and all relevant documentation is completed.
2. Ensuring that the products meet customer requirements at each stage of its manufacturing process and where necessary report all non - conformities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
3. Ability to learn and identify non - conforming product against current manufacturing standard and customer requirements.
4. Inspecting all components and assemblies at all stages of the manufacturing process.
5. Responsible for checking, progressing and collating accurate build and inspection records with supervision of current inspectors.
6. Ensuring all associated documentation is completed correctly and accurately (Batch follower/ works order cards), with supervision of current inspectors.
7. Alerting the Quality team/ Inspector/ Team Leader/ Production Engineer of ongoing and potential problems (Process and workmanship).
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
Required Education and Experience
8. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
9. Good communication skills
10. Previous experience with wire cable/ wire harnessing assembly is desirable but not essential.
11. Understanding of IPC 620 and build specifications.

Our Recruitment Process
Initally we will reach out to you for an informal conversation about the role. This will allow you the opportunity to ask questions and find out more about TT, our site and our team.
It will also give us the chance to learn more about you and your experience to date. At this point both parties have the opportunity to decide if they would like to continue with the process.
Formal interviews will be held onsite will be held on site and include a tour of the site.
Due to the specific projects TT Electronics Abercynon supports, we are unable to sponsor work visas for this role. Candidates will be required to achieve Baseline Personal Security Standard Clearance and hold Uk or US citizenship.
Successful candidates will be required to undertake pre and during employment drug and alcohol testing.
